Day 18: 21 Day Detox with a Quick and Easy Vegetable Ramen Noodle Soup

It’s Day 18 of the 21 Day Detox…3 more days to go!!!!! I am so excited that this is almost over…why…because I am still traumatized from week 1…lol!

Things got a lot easier after that, but the first week, with all that juice…that was so hard.

 
Things are looking up the with addition of all these cooked veggie based meals!

 
My Quick and Easy Ramen Noodle Soup is cooked in less than 20 minutes and it taste like you allowed this veggie soup to cook all day!

I am sure you all have seen those ramen packets in the grocery store? Most come with a seasoning packet that should be banned!

Full of MSG and any and everything no one should want to eat!

You can get these noodles baked or fried. Look on the ethic food section and you can find these baked with healthy ingredients.

 It’s time to eat people, don’t forget your chop sticks!!!!

Day 18: 21 Day Detox with a Quick and Easy Vegetable Ramen Noodle Soup

Prep Time: 5 minutes
Cook Time: 10 minutes
Total Time: 15 minutes
Servings: 2

Ingredients:

2 packs ramen noodles, seasoning packed discarded
4 cups vegetable or chicken broth
2 cups Napa cabbage, shredded
2 cups mushrooms, diced
1/2 cup yellow bell pepper
1/2 cup orange bell pepper
1/2 cup carrots, grated
1 stalk celery, sliced
1 garlic clove, minced
1 teaspoon sesame oil
1 teaspoon black pepper
1 teaspoon creole seasoning
1 teaspoon onion powder
1 teaspoon garlic powder
green onions to garnish

Directions:

In a stock, add sesame oil over medium heat, add vegetables and saute 5 minutes, add seasoning and mix well.

Pour in broth and bring to boil, add noodles, stir, reduce heat and simmer 4-5 minutes until noodles are cooked. Serve garnished with green onions.
